So I was watching this old video again because the new Good Omens season triggered my obsession with Neil Gaiman’s stories that creeps up periodically ( and his voice is soothing to listen to while I draw) And at about 1:25:30 there’s a part that really made me giggle, cause this is what he says when asked about themes in his work:

“I remember once somebody asked me about the kiss that would occur in my books three quarters of the way through, to indicate that we were now moving into act three. And I said ‘what’. And they said 'well you must be conscious of it, you do it every time.’”

My mom used to get frustrated at all the rocks I put in the kitchen when I got home because she thought they were dirty so she started putting all the new ones in the dishwasher for me once a week before I had to take them to my room and at one point my dad found the silverware caddy full of rocks and was like “why are there rocks in the dishwasher?” And my mom was like “I didn’t want dirty rocks on the counter” and then he was like “why were there rocks on the counter?” And I was like “I ran out of room in my pockets” and then he was like “thanks none of that explains anything” and just left the rocks there and grabbed a spoon out of the sink instead of thinking about the rocks any further.

When I was a very small child, my mom used to bury coins in my sandbox, leave huge boot prints in the sand, and tell me pirates had come in the night and buried treasure. I would be out there happily for hours, with my little sieve, and my mom got a quiet morning to herself for the price of a handful of pennies.

I was always kind of skeptical about Santa, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy, because visiting every kid in the world did not seem reasonable. But the pirates only visited me, so they were probably real.

So that’s the story of how I ended up being an archaeologist. How about you?

okay so, now that we have a confirmation that Arcane season 2 is coming back next year… I just have a few thoughts/questions

will caitvi be official? are they gonna finally have that long awaited smooch, that we’ve all been waiting for let’s be fucking real?

will Jinx and Violet make amends with each other, or are they gonna be at each other’s throats because of what happened between Zaun and Piltover? is a fight gonna happen, and none of them are gonna be the same again?

are we maybe getting a Renata Glasc appearance? because she’s been teased for months, and I wanna see that hunk in action, bro. stg.

Sevika leader of Zaun??? maybe?? Will she take over from Silco and try to fix the differences between both sides and maybe try to find peace in between? Will we have a little more backstory on her and more screen time?
